BACKGROUND

Terzo is part of the Broders family, a neighborhood restaurant focused on a creative approach to traditional Italian cuisine, wine and hospitality. The menu is a continually evolving expression of contemporary Italian cuisine paired with a celebrated wine program featuring over 300 selections, a dynamic ‘by the glass’ program, and a unique offering of craft and imported Italian beers, plus classic & creative cocktails.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

As a bartender and team member at Terzo, your top priority will be to create an atmosphere that allows our guests to feel welcome and at home through the warmth of genuine hospitality. We will ask a person in this role to demonstrate a thorough understanding of our food and beverage offerings to help guide our guests expertly. An ideal team member at Terzo will display professionalism, a sense of humor, a strong passion for Italian cuisine and wine, and above all else, a humble desire to learn and also share their knowledge with the group.

BARTENDING EXPERIENCE

- Knowledge of basic cocktail builds

- Ability to bartend while simultaneously providing hospitality to guests at bar

- Experience in bartending positions

- Ability to learn and retain builds of rotating specialty cocktails

- Desire to collaborate with bar team and work in tandem with bar back during service

RESPONSIBILITIES + DUTIES + PROFESSIONAL QUALITIES

- Provide prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, warm, and anticipatory service

- Be intimately familiar with our ever changing wine, cocktail and beverage offerings

- Have expert knowledge of our menu and be able to guide guests through a memorable dining experience

- Maintain mental athleticism for coordination with table pacing, and section maintenance in conjunction with support personnel

- Excellent emotional self awareness under pressure while maintaining a graceful, warm presence

- Utilize Toast POS to process and maintain all guest checks accurately

- Strong communication and listening skills that build trust with your guest and team members

- A familiarity with finer dining principles is appreciated though not always necessary. We prefer you possess the attitude and drive to learn, grow, and develop to become a better version of yourself through working with us

SCHEDULE

Must be available to work nights & weekends, including Sundays. Schedule will include additional FOH roles as part of a rotation.

COMPENSATION
